Well its summer and its almost the end of June.Well monday and tuesday I hung with my friend and we did random things.Tuesday I went over to my friends house and we played random games and stuff.Then my friend..after I was done eating took me to applebees.I ended up getting a really yummy salad.Then for dessert we had a meltdown..it was nummy.We also took very random pictures which was totally fun!Wensday I saw my docotor for the first time in four years.I gained twenty pounds from four years ago which means I weigh in at about 108 pounds.I'm still not huge.I also grew a whole 5 inches which means I am now 5'3 excactly.Yesterday I did not do much...I went to walgreens and picked up a few things with my mom.I did go shopping this week which is nice.Well I'm done!

2 Corinthians 4:8-9:
We are hard pressed on every side,but not crushed;perplexed,but not in despair,persecuted,but not abandoned,struck down but not destroyed.(NIV)
Those verses remind me of the song trading my sorrows the part thats like this:
I'm pressed but not crushed persecuted not abandoned struck down and not destroyed I am blessed beyond the curse for his promise will endure and his joy is gonna be my strength.

Then on to the next thing that struck me:
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart.Though outwardly we are wasting away,yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an enternal glory that far outweighs them all.So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,but on what is unseen.For what is seen is temporary,but what is unseen is eternal.(NIV)
Lets keep our mind fixed on Jesus.

Jesus was a shock Jock

Jesus made radical statements such as:

"Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees you can’t go to heaven."

"Be perfect then as your Father in heaven is perfect."

"I am the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the Father except through me."

"Broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the path that leads to eternal life."

"I and the Father are one."

"Before Abraham was born, I AM!"
He made it clear that He was the only way to God, that most people were on the highway to hell, that he and the Father were one God and that He was the great "I AM" before Abraham ever walked the planet (which was thousands of years before Jesus was born!)

How did the rule roaring religious receive Jesus and his radical road show? They tried to cram the microphone down his throat and throw him out of the building (O.K. it was over a cliff, but you get the idea.) At one point they picked up stones to try to crush him on the spot. Finally, they conspired to have him crucified.

At last his radical statements were stopped. The plug was pulled and the show was over. When the corpse of Christ was taken off the cross, bundled in some sheets and locked behind a guarded tomb, the uptight religious rulers must have been giving each other high fives. But three days later something happened…the DJ was back!

For forty days Jesus Christ toured the country to appear before his fan base and reassured them that his broadcast was far from over. As a matter of fact, right before he ascended into the airwaves, he commissioned them all as shock jocks for Jesus. He told them in essence that he wanted them to spread across the planet and deliver his outrageous sayings to every man, woman, boy and girl.

This mission microphone has been handed from generation to generation over the last 2,000 years. And guess what? The microphone is in your hands right now. You are to be the shock jock at your school, job, work and neighborhood. You are to deliver the radical statements of Jesus to your friends in a loving and compelling way. But be careful…the audience is tuned in, so flip your ‘on air’ switch and start broadcasting!*

Christian carsalsemen???

What an interesting day I am having.My family went to the dodge dealership to look at a specific type of car.Well the salseperson helping us was a christian.We first went there and met this salseman and he was kinda friendly and not pushy.We test drived a car and ended up iffy about it.So we decided we should go do some more research and tally at home.Right before we left he gave us a business card.But technichally it was not any normal busniess card you would recieve.It was a money gospel tract with his name and stuff on it telling the way to enternal life! I was like hey sweet I also have a gospel tract and I showed mine to him.I think he should try witnessing to his cowokers.I seriously hope were are done car searching for a few hours.

Teenagers don't share their faith....why?

But what Greg said is that adults talk about evagelizing and it end up being lip service.We teenagers would share our faith but we don't see adult christians trying.Jesus said GO make disciples.(Matthew 28:19)Notice he did not say make disciples whever or better yet live your life on the quiet side.Jesus wants us to GO which is a verb.We as christians need to be witnessing because life is not a game.We get one chance at this life and lets go share our faith now.I say in america christians don't witness because they are in their own little comfort zone bubble.In other countries people are persecuted and they still share Christ and the churchs grow rapidly.The church in America is full of comfortable christians.Oh yeah we go to church and participate but by no means we don't witness thats the missionaries job.People like that fustrate me more than anyone can imagine.Come on AMERICAN christians we need to be sharing Jesus.We won't get killed....sure people may not like us and get mad but thats it.Are we going to continue sitting around like we suppose to be doing nothing or are we going to step up and witness.I say that I am going to witness.Their is a song fearless by building 429 and its about being fearless to go and share Jesus.I am going to be fearless for God!!!!!

Temptation

When tempted no one should say,"God is tempting me." For God can not be tempted by evil,nor does he tempt anyone;but each one is tempted when,by his own evil desires,he is dragged away and enticed.Then after desire has conceived,it gives birth to sin;and sin,when it is full-grown,gives birth to death.James 1:13-15

Temptation can never come from God but by our evil desires.God does though provide a way of escape.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.And God is faithful;he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.But when you are tempted ,he wull also provide a way out so you can stand up under it.1 Corinthians 10:13

uncertainy

Well this school year was full of surprises.At first I was enrolled to go to a public school.Then my dad was like hey lets send the kids to a christian school.If you asked me then I was really skeptical.I had a narrow mind about having to wear uniforms and not being able to wear flip-flops.All in all the school sorta surprised me.I can tell you for sure it was not what I was expecting.Everyone still had their own personality.Then my small world became even smaller.I went to a small public school(around 1,000 or so) and then the christian school had around 100 students(k-12th grade). It was challenging academicly and physically.I did get through my sophmore year and here is a scary thought I'm a junior.(aaah) Well maybe next year I will play soccer and get okay grades.This year I passed all my classes even geometry.Well sadness did come we had to put our dog rocky to sleep.Summer vacation is starting out a bit hard.
